Our grandmother Alice Docker fell in love with the Boston Terrier breed in the early 1950’s. She purchased her first dog and begin to breed Boston Terrier’s. She continued her business until shortly prior her passing away. Grandma Docker taught us the importance of understanding the breed as well as the breed qualifications. In fact she sold me my first dog when I was 25 and she charged me full price. I started asking her if I could have a dog when I was 8 years old. It was hard to hear her say no all those years but when I finally got my first dog I appreciated and cherished my pet so much more. I along with my family have continued the tradition of breeding quality dogs as I was taught by my grandma. Our dogs are raised at home with my family and children. They are treated well and come pre-spoiled. We do not support any cruelty to animals or puppy milling operations. Our dogs are part of the family, we love and cared for as such. Life is precious never take it for granted, take it for a walk!

Following the Civil War, the Boston Terrier breed was developed in the stables of Boston, Massachusetts, as a fighting dog. An imported dog known as "Hooper's Judge" (sold to a Boston man in 1870) became the ancestor of almost all true modern Boston Terriers. The breed is an American creation, resulting from a cross between an English Bulldog and a white English Terrier. In 1891, the breed became known as Boston Terriers, taking the name of the city where they originated.
The Boston has been nicknamed "the American Gentleman" because of his dapper appearance, characteristically gentle disposition and suitability as companion and house pet. They require only a moderate amount of exercise and a minimum amount of grooming. The breed is easy to train and they are easy keepers, preferring to remain by their owner’s sides.
